DANCE BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Thank you for your interest in an American School of Dance "Hip-Hop Hooray!" Dance Birthday Party!
We send our dance instructors to your Fairfield County, CT location with everything necessary to host an unforgettable dance party: plenty of cool music, hip dance moves, funky & fun routines, performance props, and lots of interactive dance games to play! And best of all, we bring music CDs for each party-goer, made-to-order with your child’s favorite dance songs. If you’d like, we also can bring cute, Broadway-style costumes so your child and friends can put on a real live dance show or film a music video!
And we welcome your ideas! Please let us know if there is any special or creative way your child would like us to conduct her dance birthday party. We strive to be as accommodating as possible and would love nothing more than to make your child’s dance party dreams come true!

ASD "Hip-Hop Hooray!" Dance Birthday Party Pricing:

$150 / hour for 10 or fewer children

$15 / hour for each extra child
-
Second hour and up: same rate (tallied in 15-minute increments)

Personalized CDs for each child: included! (Additional CDs: $7 each)

Costumes: $5 per child (to cover post-party laundering)

ASD long sleeve t-shirts: $25 each

ASD dance bags: $10 each

Party dates generally are scheduled Saturday afternoons and Sundays only.

Prices quoted are for party sites within Fairfield County, CT. We have limited ability to accommodate parties outside of Fairfield County - please call to inquire.

After reserving a party date via phone or email, you must submit a completed
ASD Dance Birthday Party Contract
and a deposit for 50% of the total anticipated party cost no later than two weeks before your party date, or your reservation is cancelled.
How to Schedule your ASD "Hip-Hop Hooray!" Dance Birthday Party:

) to check availability and reserve your preferred party date/ time.
2. Fill out the “
ASD Dance Birthday Party Contract
,” calculating your total estimated party price.
3. Mail or FAX in your party contract with your deposit payment for 50% of the estimated total. (See contract for payment details.
We cannot accept party contracts without the required deposit!
)
4. We will call you upon receipt of your contract and deposit to confirm the details.
Remember: we must receive your party contract and deposit
no later than two weeks
before your party date. If we do not receive your party contract and deposit in this timeframe, we will assume you no longer wish to contract us and we will cancel your reservation.
Party contracts received less than two weeks before a reserved party date may still be able to be accommodated (a $20 rush fee will apply to your total party cost). Please call to inquire.
ASD "Hip-Hop Hooray!" Dance Birthday Party Policies:

Cancellations of contracted parties:
If made 14 days before the party date: You will receive a full refund, minus a $20 cancellation fee. If made less than 14 days before the party date: You will forfeit your deposit.

Cancellations of reserved party dates:
Please do us the courtesy of informing us if you no longer are interested in a date you have reserved. Reserved dates that remain uncontracted two weeks prior to the date are automatically cancelled.

Conflicting reservations:
If you have reserved a party date but have not yet sent in your party contract and deposit, and another parent expresses interest in the same date, we will notify you of the situation and give you “first option” to submit your contract and deposit. Process is as follows: 1 month before your party date: You will have 3 business days to submit your contract and deposit, after which we will offer the date to the other parent. Less than 1 month before your party date: You will have 48 hours to submit your contract and deposit before losing priority. Once the date is offered to both parents, it’s first contracted, first scheduled!

Changes to contracted party information:
Notify us ASAP if there are any changes to your party as outlined in your party contract (i.e., number of children expected, party time, hours requested, location, etc.) The sooner you notify us of a change, the more likely it is we can accommodate it.
Please note: We may not be able to accommodate party date, time or length changes, regardless of when they are requested.
You may reduce your total number of expected children with us up to 4 days prior to your party date to receive credit for the reduction. You may add to your total number of expected children up to 4 days prior your party date to ensure they will receive a CD and have a costume (if applicable) at the party.
Changes made within 4 days of a contracted party are handled as follows: “No-show” children: you will be charged all applicable costs for any expected child that does not attend. “Drop-In” children: $15/hr extra per child will be applied to your final bill. These children will not receive a CD day-of (or have a costume, if applicable). We can mail CDs to drop-ins post-party for an extra $5/child to cover postage costs.

After your party ends:
Our instructors will tally your total party cost and give you a final bill. You may give a check or credit card for the balance due to our instructor/s, or you can mail in your payment (within 5 business days, please), or we can charge your party balance to your credit card on-file with us (if applicable).

Tipping:
You are welcome to tip our instructors for exceptional service (but this is not expected).

Overdue Payments:
Balances still outstanding more than 30 days after a party date are assessed a $20 late charge each 30 days the balance remains unpaid. Please be aware that final payments still outstanding after 90 days may be referred to a collection agency for further action.
