American School of Dance students can wear any of the apparel sold in our online store…and feel good about it to! "Free to Dance" Apparel is our line of fun dance clothes for which a portion of the proceeds goes towards dance-related causes like the National Dance Education Organization, National Dance Institute, Artists Striving to End Poverty, and REVolution Dance. The Free to Dance line is exclusively made by American Apparel in their LA warehouse (sweatshop free!) and we plan to donate an additional 1 percent of our annual proceeds to environmental causes through "One percent for the Planet."
